Privacy Policy (Overtime Desk)
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jason Underwood (doing business as Overtime Desk) ("we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit overtimedesk.com, call or text us, or use our services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, business name, phone number, email, address, and details about your request (for example, when you email us or request a Lead-Leak Check).
- Call and text information: phone numbers, call times, voicemail, and text messages you send us. If you call our AI receptionist, the call may be recorded and transcribed, and you'll be told at the start of the call.
- Website information: This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our host (GitHub Pages) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- Client account information: billing contact and payment details. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your call, text or email, and to schedule demos or callbacks
- To provide, operate and support our services for clients
- To send the texts described in our SMS Terms
- To bill clients, keep records, and meet legal obligations
- To improve our website and services, and to keep them secure
3. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent or trade phone numbers, SMS opt-in data or consent records. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.
4. How we share information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our business, such as phone and text providers, our CRM, scheduling, AI voice and transcription services, hosting and payment processing (Stripe). They may use it only to provide services to us. (Mobile opt-in data is subject to Section 3.)
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- As part of a business transfer (for example, a merger or sale), subject to this policy.
5. Data we process for our clients
When we run services for a client business (for example, texting back that business's missed callers), we process its customers' information on the client's behalf and under the client's instructions. The client's own privacy policy and SMS terms govern that information. If you're one of our client's customers, contact that business directly.
6. Retention
We keep inquiry and client records only as long as we need them to respond, provide our services, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete them. Consent and opt-out records are kept as long as required to show compliance.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction or deletion: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information. Email hello@overtimedesk.com and we'll respond.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
